Symphogear AXZ Episode 2 Impressions!

Hi guys!

Welcome to the new season of Symphogear! This is where I will be writing about my impressions of the episodes. So, here are my impressions for the second episode: Last Resort! As always, feel free to write your own impressions of the episode in the comments section, but please don't read it if you don't want to be spoiled.

Episode 2 Impressions

This episode was very fun! It had lots of action scenes which I enjoyed and judging just by the opening - which had a lot of training scenes and very few story characters, I think this is going to be a very heavy story focused season.

• The opening was just amazing! I loved the training scenes with Hibiki practicing her martial arts and Maria boxing against shadow clone Ogawa.

• It also looks like Fudou Kazanari is going to be mentioned again~ugh.

• It also looks like Chris has joined the archery club.

• So, it seems Chris' past is going to be one of the main focuses of the story this time; and as implied by the ending theme song - her goal for this season is to make up with Sonya. But, did they really have to go and amputate Stephan's leg.

• So, St. Germain has a past with Fine and that the reason that they waited to show up was to make sure that Fine had been eliminated, huh?

• Pirate Fine was very interesting design-wise.

• However, I'm more interested in the kid in the amber crystal.

• It also looks like the Illuminati have philosopher stone armors in the op, and some of their designs are pretty wacky (I think one of them has a giant hat.)

• Maria's character songs are amazing.

And of course, that cliffhanger at the end with Hibiki was good too. So I guess we'll have to wait until next week to find out what happens next.
