―――― “It” is an entity that has been observed occasionally throughout the world, since time immemorial, but it was officially taken up as a topic for discussion in the UN of that year, and officially authorized, as a well-known entity that is closer to the limitless unknown.

The certified singular disaster “Noise,” that which ought to be handled with cooperation by all nations, for the sake of international peacekeeping.

 

Noise attacks people, and by contacting with, people disintegrate and turn into lumps of carbon.

 

With regards to them, their destructive power which follows the normal natural laws that people use, seemingly boasts the newest to it somehow, and to the Noise who are unable to demonstrate their slightest effects, just sometimes pass through people, leaving them with no choice except to wait for them to disappear.

 

Some people, evaluated those Noise as “true disasters” and those same people hack up that they are “the suicidal desires that swallow up other people incarnate” by doing such things like attacking people, turning them into lumps of carbon and finally crumbling down into those lumps of carbon along with the Noise themselves too.

The Japanese Government, have employed several destructive devices that cannot be made public. The second division of the Singular Disaster Anti-Riot Unit, which serves as the ancestor of the “Kazanari Institute’s” Special Duties Room that was constructed by the old army in the Second World War, similar to the first division countermeasures task force who is generally well-known, bear the burden of controlling these situations and stopping the magnification of damage, but they have one point where they decisively differ.

“The Symphogear System------”

It is through their sole possession of this ultimate trump, and exercise of it, that humanity is armed for, the destruction of their natural enemy.

 

The Symphogear System is the only thing that wraps itself onto a human's body, but it owns a valid and effective offensive measure against the Noise, and makes it possible for them to repel them.

 

However, it draws a line on existing technological systems, and since the Symphogear which is the crystallization of heretical technology, is a powerful weapon that can annihilate the Noise at the same time, they also take into account the effect that it has towards its neighboring foreign countries, and its US-Japan Security Treaty with the US, putting it into a state of perfect concealment, through the advocacy of the current ruling power of the government.

Unknown to everyone, the individuals who protect the lives of its people and fight the Noise are very young girls――――The two “Symphogears” whose true identity, is that of the current top vocal unit, are people who are known as Kanade Amo and Tsubasa Kazanari.

Hibiki Tachibana and Miku Kohinata, have been attending Lydian Private Music Academy’s High School Division, since this spring. It is an unanticipated joy, for Hibiki and Miku, to attend Lydian Music Academy which is known as the place where Tsubasa Kazanari the artist, who is a target for aspiration attends.
