Symphogear AXZ Episode 1 Impressions!

Hi guys!

Welcome to the new season of Symphogear! This is where I will be writing about my impressions of the episodes. So, here is the one for the first episode! As always, feel free to write your own impressions of the episode in the comments section.

Episode 1 Impressions

• I was really surprised by how fast the beginning was compared to what Kaneko said in the interview about the episode being a "slow" one - I'm guessing he was trolling us.

• It was so hilarious how Hibiki and co. managed to take down an entire army company's tanks and missiles and stuff on top of the Alca-NOISE. It was so funny!

• But, back on target, I find it interesting how they are exploring more of Chris' past - particularly the moment when she lost her parents and I'd like to see Chris apologize to Sonya (the woman in the flashback.

• The new transformation sequence was absolutely awesome!

• I liked the new villains and how they sung in German? , though Cagliostro is gonna take some getting used to and I'm not sure what they did to the dictator and the soldiers.

• That mysterious girl or boy in the amber was interesting too and I liked that giant serpent relic. (Sorry, I can't remember its name right now).

And of course, it ended on a cliffhanger, so I guess we'll have to wait until next week to find out what happens next.
