Glossary Entry
A 1st generation holder of the 3rd Sacrist “Gungnir.” Her age at her death was 17 years old.
Originally, Kanade couldn’t become a Symphogear Holder, due to the lowness of her compatibility factor, however, due to an overdose of the control drug “LiNKER” which was developed by Ryouko Sakurai who is the Technical Chief of the 2nd Division, she managed to obtain the power of Gungnir as its acquired Attuner.
On the other hand, the effects caused by the acquired LiNKER were tremendous, and the burden taken to the body were also immense.
Hence, for LiNKER which had a set effective time limit, Kanade, sometimes personally ridiculed herself as a “Pseudo-attuner” or a “Time Limit Styler.”
On the very day of the tragic live.
Since she was told to refrain herself from administering LiNKER a little while before it, so as to prevent garbage and other potential uncertainties getting mixed into the collected data for Project: N which was progressing in parallel to the live performance, as much as possible, she suffered the personal tragedy of her effective time limit wearing out in the middle of her battle with the Noise
As the decrease of her compatibility factor is linked to her released creation of the Symphogear that she dons, Kanade decided to end it at an early stage.
And burned away her life.
Personality
When she was alive, Kanade was a bubbly yet wild girl who was prone to being short-tempered. She was originally a happy and energetic girl until her family was killed during a Noise attack at the archaeological site where she was vacationing with her parents at. After the death of her family, Kanade became hell bent on getting revenge for her family against the Noise, eventually becoming obsessed with obtaining the Symphogear's power, regardless of the cost to herself.
After becoming acquainted with Tsubasa Kazanari and spending more time going on missions with her, Kanade gradually began to calm down and realize that her abilities were a gift and that she should be seeking to protect people rather than focusing on revenge. On the day of her death, Kanade realized that she wasn't going to live much longer, so she decided to end it in a manner that suited her and chose to use her Superb Song to burn away the Noise and herself.
Relationships
Tsubasa Kazanari
Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou were close in life. When they first met, Kanade was not as close to Tsubasa who was initially frightened by her, however, they soon grew closer. Being the older of the two, Kanade had a habit of mothering the very shy and lonely Tsubasa and acted as her role model, e.g. by comforting her and reassuring her. Kanade's death traumatized Tsubasa.

Kanade's Symphogear is called "Gungnir." It was created from the tip of the 3rd Sacrist, Gungnir which was brought over to Japan from the Ahnenerbe Institute in Germany during the 2nd World War.
Appearance
When clad on her body, her Symphogear takes the form of a white armour with a red-orangey and black underlining with white horns protruding from the forehead. Kanade's armor is similar to Maria's in style, however, she lacks the cape.
Abilities
By activating the Symphogear, Kanade can access a wide range of abilities including:

Immunity from the Noise's attacks; and

The ability to destroy Noise
She is also capable of manifesting a lance as her armed gear, unlike Hibiki, due to having owned a bigger piece of Gungnir than the pieces that Hibiki initially had buried in her chest near her heart.

Stardust∞Foton - For this attack, Kanade summons over thousands of spears that fall down on Noise.This attack is similar to the other Holders' barrage attacks such as One Thousand Falling Tears, Megadeth Party and Alpha Style 100 Rebirth, but with a bigger number.

Last∞Meteor - With this attack, Kanade summons a very giant tornado that can defeat Noise from a very large distance. This is a unique attack as it can destroy giant Noise in less than a second because of its strong gale force winds. It is also very flexible because Kanade can direct the tornado in any direction that she wants it to.

Pendant/Relic telepathy - Kanade possesses the unique ability to communicate with her relic from a distance. She can transform without having the pendant/relic on her chest.

Superb Song - Kanade's Superb Song emits a wide area pink blast of energy. She can only use her Superb Song if she takes LiNKER. In any case, she uses her Superb Song without using LiNKER it leads to her death.
